With the rapid development of digital technologies and increasingly fierce market competition, digital transformation in enterprises has become an irreversible trend. Digital transformation is not only a technological upgrade but also a profound change in organizational structure, management models, and business concepts. This paper aims to reveal the mechanisms by which digital transformation promotes organizational flexibility, accelerates decision-making processes, and enhances organizational adaptability by synthesizing relevant literature from both domestic and international sources and combining it with a case study analysis of ByteDance. Digital transformation breaks down traditional organizational barriers, promotes information flow and cross-departmental collaboration, and enhances organizational agility and learning capacity, driving organizational structures toward more platform-based, flat, and decentralized models. Furthermore, this paper explores the profound impacts of applying artificial intelligence technologies and intelligent upgrades on corporate organizational structures, building on the foundation of digital transformation. The effects of intelligent upgrades on organizational structures are an extension and enhancement of digital transformation, including further compression of organizational hierarchies and improvement in decision-making efficiency. Finally, this paper summarizes the risks and challenges companies face during digital transformation in terms of organizational restructuring, cultural adaptation, and talent skill matching, and provides corresponding strategic recommendations to address these risks.
