Concerning the decrease of marriage rate and age-at-first-marriage rate have become a worldwide problem, let along our country. Reasons and effect factors behind the decrease are not only a focus point in the academic fields but also in our society. In order to understand the decrease of marriage and fertility rate, we must solve the chronological problem, marital attitude. Since the Generation Z(born in 1995 to 2009), who grew in an internet mediated environment that shares a background differed from other generations, are adequate for marriage, this study designs to investigate their marriage attitude and the effect of internet usage in a Communication perspective. This paper based on the theory of gender revolution, adopts semi-structures interview and a questionnaire survey method to survey how internet marital information exposure plays as an impact factor in the marital attitude of the unmarried Generation Z female. For the qualitative interview, the study interviewed 15 unmarried Generation Z female. For the quantitative survey, the study adopts the GAMS, GRAS, ESS scale to measure how participants’ internet marital information exposure impact their marital attitudes, as well as the intermediary variables——gender role attitudes and social trust. For the results, this study finds that the marital attitudes of unmarried Generation Z female are low, majority of the sample shares delaying the marriage plan; proves internet marital information exposure and social trust are significant as impact factors through the quantitative research method; and the qualitative research also helps this study to answer the internet-usage-impacted marital attitudes more specifically and individually. This study provides relative advices on the basis of policy publication, benefits construction, and media strategy: first, help the public understand new policies of marriage law to avoid misunderstandings; second, target female and provide more convincing monetary support with their birth choice and work choice; third, advocate the presentation of marriage information as in a rational and healthy manner. This study was meant to add up to the study of marital attitudes, to provide some research foundation and basis for subsequent research on the study of Generation Z and their marital attitudes, in the hope that it will be beneficial to the research about marital attitudes future wise.
