中华民族凝聚力是关系中华民族生存与发展的重要力量。近年来，随着发展的未知性和风险性不断增加，外来思潮涌入、物质主义抬头、信仰缺失、发展压力增大等问题对中华民族凝聚力产生了一些消极影响，长此以往可能会制约各项工作的开展，不利于中华民族伟大复兴征程，因此，探索更多中华民族凝聚力的提升路径具有现实紧迫性和时代必要性。一般来说，大部分研究者都从经济、政治、文化等某一维度思考中华民族凝聚力的提升途径，并形成了较为丰富的研究成果。而国家重点工程作为兼具技术性和社会性的复杂系统，与多重因素交织，并通过承载国家的意志、价值、理想，塑造民族集体记忆和彰显国家综合实力，与中华民族凝聚力产生了深刻的内在联系，称得上是增强中华民族凝聚力的一大综合性途径。港珠澳大桥作为众多国家重点工程之一，在文化、地理、战略和时代上具有独特地位。港珠澳大桥主要从经济、政治、文化三个层面增强中华民族凝聚力：经济上促进区域一体化拉动增长新活力，用高水平创造制造助力高质量发展；政治上坚持党的正确领导，丰富“一国两制”实践内涵，充分调动各方积极性，彰显集中力量办大事的制度优势；文化上以习近平文化思想为指导，在工程景观、工程旅游、工程叙事上坚持文化自信自强，打造爱国主义教育基地，厚植爱国情怀，弘扬中华民族精神。尽管国家重点工程具有增强中华民族凝聚力的作用，但是还存在如民众了解不足、舆论引导不充分和价值转化不全面等问题制约着国家重点工程进一步发挥其汇聚人心、振奋精神的功能。因此，要坚持主流媒体的正确引导，发挥好影视作品的媒介作用，依托广大公共平台展现工程全貌，客观真实地反击对工程的消极言论，塑造良好的工程形象和国家形象；要制作高质量工程类纪实作品，建设工程展馆，将思政课堂与工程案例结合，讲好工程建设的故事和背后的道理，以工程故事讲好中国故事；要提炼工程内在精神，评选工程人物模范，充分展现时代精神和价值风尚，弘扬伟大中国精神。
