笔者的家乡湖南省浏阳市是烟花爆竹的发源地与盛产地,与烟花已相伴千余年,享有“中国烟花之乡”的荣誉称号。浏阳烟花造型美观、色彩鲜艳、品类丰富,是一种将“声、光、色”融合于一体的视觉艺术,其生产制作技艺作为一种传统技艺已被列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录,具有独特的审美价值与文化价值。笔者经调研发现,目前大部分观赏者对烟花艺术的认识有限,不了解烟花艺术背后的花样设计与视觉规律,缺乏对烟花文化的认同感。而图形符号系统设计是一种以系统思维为导向将图形符号标准化、结构化的设计方式,能够帮助观者更全面、准确地认识与理解事物。鉴于此,本研究旨在运用系统设计的思维,构建“浏阳烟花”的图形符号系统,以帮助观者解读浏阳烟花的品类、造型与运动的规律,展现“浏阳烟花”的独特魅力。本文首先针对图形符号的系统化思路进行探究,在案例分析的基础上将该思路归纳为两个方向:“知识内容的系统化”与“视觉形态的系统化”,提出将两条思路分别划分成“梳理内容、构建框架、归纳形象、统一色彩”与“采集信息、寻找规律、提炼形状、整合结构”四个关键环节,并从此出发围绕图形符号的系统化思路展开阐述。其次通过分析烟花的分类与烟花的视觉特征,构建起基础的烟花知识框架。再运用搜集信息、分析案例等方式将烟花图形符号化的主要方法归纳为:提炼简化、夸张变形、置换同构。最后结合以《小城烟花》为题的毕业设计展现完整的设计思路:设计调研、系统构建、设计呈现,完成“浏阳烟花图形符号系统”的构建。从文化传承的角度看,本研究的主要意图是体现造物智慧和审美情趣,帮助人们理解、认识烟花之美,对浏阳烟花产业形象的提升以及对优秀传统文化的传播与传承有一定的意义与价值。从视觉传达设计的学科角度看,本研究是关于图形语言的探索,是用“系统化”的思维将图形符号标准化、系统化的尝试。与此同时,在设计的输出、呈现方面,还利用了书籍、卡片、墙面装置与动态视频等多种媒介,对当前时代背景下图形符号的设计与应用具有一定的参考价值。
Liuyang City, Hunan Province, the author‘s hometown, is the birthplace of fireworks and the place where they are produced in abundance. Liuyang fireworks are a kind of visual art that integrates sound, light and color, with beautiful shapes, bright colors and rich categories. The author found that most viewers have limited knowledge of fireworks art, do not understand the pattern design and visual laws behind fireworks art, and lack a sense of identification with fireworks culture. The graphic symbol system design is a way to standardize and structure the graphic symbols with systematic thinking, which can help the viewers to know and understand things more comprehensively and accurately. In view of this, this study aims to use systematic design thinking to build a graphic symbol system for "Liuyang fireworks", so as to help viewers interpret the categories, shapes and movements of Liuyang fireworks and show the unique charm of "Liuyang fireworks".This paper first explores the idea of systematization of graphic symbols, and summarizes the idea into two directions based on case studies: "systematization of knowledge content" and "systematization of visual form", and proposes to divide the two ideas into The two ideas are divided into four key aspects: "sorting out the content, building a framework, summarizing the image, and unifying the color" and "collecting information, searching for patterns, refining the shape, and integrating the structure", and from there, the idea of systematizing graphic symbols is elaborated. Next, we analyze the classification of fireworks and their visual characteristics to build a basic knowledge framework of fireworks. The main methods of fireworks symbolization are summarized in the following ways: refinement and simplification, exaggeration and deformation, and substitution and isomorphism. Finally, the graduation design titled "Small Town Fireworks" shows the complete design idea: design research, system construction, and design presentation, and completes the construction of "Liuyang fireworks graphic symbol system".From the perspective of cultural inheritance, the main intention of this study is to reflect the wisdom of creation and aesthetic interest, to help people understand and recognize the beauty of fireworks, and to improve the image of Liuyang fireworks industry as well as to spread and inherit the excellent traditional culture. From the perspective of visual communication design, this study is an exploration of graphic language, an attempt to standardize and systematize graphic symbols with a "systematic" mindset. At the same time, in the output and presentation of the design, various media such as books, cards, wall installations and video are also used, which has certain reference value for the design and application of graphic symbols in the current context.
