蝴蝶作为昆虫界中一个有着千姿百态外表的庞大种群,蕴含着无限的自然奥秘,更凭借着特殊的视觉美感,在各个时期处于不同文化背景的人们的主观加工中,不断地被赋予人文内涵,以蝴蝶为灵感或元素的创作加工贯穿着中西方传统绘画与工艺美术,装置、新媒体等现当代艺术,乃至功能仿生设计等多个门类。加之装置艺术对于材料媒介选择等方面的多元化,纺织品作为装置艺术的主要创作媒介时在造型语言和象征隐喻等多方面的特性,诸如柔软、温暖的物理特性带来的心理上的亲近感;易于从日常生活中获取;通过加工塑形呈现出多样的视觉效果等。使得将蝴蝶这一有着无限自然奥秘与文化意蕴的物象作为表现元素融入到装置艺术的创作中,并活用纺织材料的特性对艺术家基于生活经验表达蝴蝶的意向或对蝴蝶自然属性的理解与感悟成为了可能。研究以蝴蝶与蝴蝶文化以及纺织材料装置艺术的现状为研究背景,在充分论述其经济、社会、文化等方面的研究价值后,以现有的研究成果为理论支撑。首先从自然属性、文化属性对蝴蝶的元素进行了概述,强调蝴蝶在自然生物特征与人为赋予的文化内涵上的关联,并举例论述了蝴蝶元素在服装服饰、首饰、家具产品中三个领域的创意应用,在证明蝴蝶元素受到不同历史文化背景下的关注的同时,为作者基于其在装置艺术形式中的主题阐释提供了方法论上的支持。随后,作者结合案例论述了纺织材料装置艺术的材质使用、造型方式、展陈方式、观念传达等特性,对纺织材料的应用形式与装置艺术的发展脉络及理念有了充分的认识。最后,基于蝴蝶元素与纺织材料装置艺术两个大方面的研究与概括总结,转化为自身以蝴蝶的自然属性为主题,以纺织材料造型方式中的平面叠加为主要的造型与视觉语言的装置艺术的实践,最终在反复的造型推敲及材料与工艺试验的基础上制作最终的实物成品,理论与实践相结合,以新的视角阐述蝴蝶元素,并基于装置艺术的形式实现纺织材料的创新应用。
The research purpose and expected outcome of thesis is to use butterflies as inspiration or visual elements of textile installation. In the introduction section, the author takes butterflies and butterfly culture as well as the current situation of textile material installation art as the background of the selected topic, and after fully discussing their economic, social and cultural research values, the existing research results are used as the theoretical support. Firstly, he gives an overview of butterfly elements in terms of natural and cultural attributes, emphasizes the connection between butterflies in terms of natural biological characteristics and cultural connotations given by human beings, and gives examples to discuss the creative applications of butterfly elements in three fields: clothing, jewelry, and furniture products, proving that butterfly elements have received attention in different historical and cultural contexts, and providing methodological support for the author‘s interpretation of themes based on them in installation art forms. The author then discusses the case studies in the context of the case studies. Subsequently, the author discusses the characteristics of textile material installation art in terms of material use, modeling methods, exhibition methods, and conceptual communication in conjunction with case studies, and provides a full understanding of the development of the application forms of textile materials and installation art and its concepts. Finally, based on the research and summary of the two major aspects of butterfly elements and textile installation art, it is transformed into its own practice of installation art with the natural properties of butterflies as the theme and the plane superposition of textile materials as the main modeling and visual language, and finally the final physical product is produced on the basis of repeated modeling and material and process testing. Theoretically and practically, the installation is based on a new perspective on butterfly elements and the innovative application of textile materials.
