呼应着构建中国新闻传播学科自主知识体系的学界号召,基础理论与核心概念的研究重回新闻传播学中心视野。中国的新闻学研究与日新月异的中国特色新闻实践紧密联系,有自己独特的历史沿革和价值体系。基于此,本研究旨在梳理、分析近30年新闻价值的变化与变化的原因。研究者构建了一份包括大小、冲突、强度、名人、新奇性、相关性、个人化、邻近性、人类兴趣、视听元素10个要素的新闻价值量表,并由此延展出亲近性和显要性两个综合维度。本研究采用新闻价值话语分析测量新闻价值在时间、平台两个层面的差异,进一步采用实验法测量各类新闻价值如何影响在线新闻的传播效果。研究结果表明,随着时间的推进,新闻的显要性和亲近性均显示出升高趋势。相较于报纸,新媒体新闻中的亲近性和显要性也更高。另外,通过地点、机构和职业高频词对比发现,中国新闻始终关照普通劳动人民,以“沟通性”为核心职能,坚持“党性”与“人民性”相统一。 进一步,研究者采用2(亲近性:高、低)x2(显要性:高、低)实验,验证了亲近性、显要性对新闻可信度感知和在线传播效果的正向促进作用。构建了以新闻可信度感知为中介的中介效应模型,并发现亲近性与显要性的交互作用,即但当一条新闻同时满足高显要性和低亲近性两个要素时,受众对新闻的可信度感知更低。该结果提示着新闻实践应当避免“宏大主题+晦涩叙事”的新闻价值组合。 该研究以新闻价值为锚点,综合跨学科方法与视角,从中观和宏观层面检视了中国近30年的新闻实践转型过程。本研究成果有助于丰富中国特色新闻价值体系,能够改善中国新闻传播学在价值生产上面临的中西方价值分化、本土共识弱、学科逻辑认同低等问题,并为数字新闻实践提供理论基础和决策参考。
In response to the call of the academic community to build a self-determination knowledge system for Chinese journalism and communication studies, scholars have proposed that the importance of researching fundamental theories and core concepts in this field. Chinese journalism research is closely linked to China‘s rapidly changing news practice and has its unique historical evolution and value system. Based on this, this study aims to analyze the changes and reasons for the differences in news values over the past 30 years. The researcher constructed a news value scale with ten elements: size, conflict, intensity, celebrity, novelty, relevance, personalization, nearness, human interest, and audio-visuals. This study measured the differences in news values over time and across platforms using discursive news values analysis, and further examined how various news values affect the dissemination of online news through experiments. The study results show that prominence and closeness increase over time. Online news has a higher degree of proximity and prominence than newspapers. Online news has a higher degree of proximity and prominence than newspapers. In addition, a comparison of high-frequency words for location, institution, and occupation shows that Chinese news always focuses on ordinary people, with "communicative" as its core function, and adheres to " party spirit" and "affinity to the people. " Furthermore, the researcher conducted a 2 (proximity: high vs. low) x 2 (prominence: high vs. low) experiment and confirmed the positive effects of proximity and prominence on perceived news credibility and online dissemination. This research constructed a mediation model with perceived news credibility as the mediator. The researcher found an interaction effect between proximity and prominence: when a news story satisfies both high prominence and low proximity, the audience‘s perceived credibility is lower. This result suggests that news practitioners should avoid the combination of "grand themes + obscure narrative" in their news value choices. This study examines the transformation process in China‘s journalism practices over the past 30 years from a mid-level and macro perspective, with news value as the anchor and a cross-disciplinary approach. The results of this study can enrich the Chinese characteristic news value system, address the problems of value differentiation between the East and the West, weak local consensus, and low academic recognition faced by Chinese journalism and communication studies, and provide a theoretical basis and decision-making reference for digital news practices.
