虚拟现实作为新兴的互动媒介,为互动叙事打开了新的大门,其沉浸感与具身性也为文学、影视作品中常用的多视角叙事方法带来了新的可能性。然而,虚拟现实全景式的视角空间及高自由度的镜头和交互形式也对叙事方法带来了新的挑战:不同于当前影视、游戏常用的2d屏幕媒介,VR中的一切叙事内容都基于用户所身临其境的三维空间,观者从“凝视屏幕”到“置身体验”,传统的叙事法则在VR独特的具身空间结构中已不再适用,需要我们对叙事方法进行重新思考。虚拟现实中用户头戴头显设备置身VR空间中,其自由视角会激发观者第一人称观影的体验,创作者既可以带给用户真实场景的还原,也可以用于超越真实的视角模拟。基于空间、互动的多视角叙事方法的研究有利于进一步了解虚拟现实叙事的特征,为虚拟现实电影的创作寻找新的突破口。本文将以虚拟现实为媒介,从互动叙事与多视角叙事的理论基础出发,从虚拟现实产业的发展、虚拟现实互动叙事的研究现状与困境、多视角叙事的特征与意义三个方面进行分析;将文学、影视中的叙事设计方法与虚拟现实体验设计方法结合,总结出在虚拟现实空间中进行多视角互动叙事的叙事策略和原则;通过用户调研与反馈,最终得出虚拟现实多视角互动叙事的独有特性与优势,并通过个人虚拟现实互动叙事作品《一天》的创作,探索出一套可行的虚拟现实多视角互动叙事创作框架与流程,为虚拟现实叙事艺术的发展提供兼具创造性和可行性的设计思路。
As an emerging interactive medium, virtual reality (VR) opens up new possibilities for interactive storytelling. Its immersive and embodied property also brings new possibilities for the commonly used multi-perspective narrative method in literature and film. However, the panoramic view of virtual reality and the high degree of freedom in the form of footage and interaction also bring new challenges to the narrative approach: unlike the 2D screen medium commonly used in film and games, all narrative content in VR is based on the 3D space in which the user is present, and the viewer moves from “staring at the screen” to “being in the experience”. The study of spatial and interactive-based multi-perspective narrative methods is conducive to further understanding the characteristics of virtual reality narratives and finding new breakthroughs for the creation of virtual reality films.This paper takes VR as the interactive medium and analyzes the theoretical basis of interactive storytelling and multi-perspective narration, as well as the development of the VR industry, the research status and challenges of VR interactive storytelling, and the characteristics and significance of multi-perspective narration. By combining narrative design methods in literature and film with VR experience design methods, the paper summarizes the narrative strategies and principles for multi-perspective interactive narration in virtual reality spaces. Finally, the unique characteristics and advantages of VR multi-perspective interactive narration are identified. Through the creation of a personal VR interactive storytelling work called "Waiting" a feasible framework and process for VR multi-perspective interactive narration creation is explored, providing a creative and feasible design approach for the development of VR narrative art.
