摘要

宁德时代是全球领先的动力电池企业,成立11年间,公司以卓越的产品和服务不断拿下国内外知名汽车企业的订单。自2017年起,公司已连续五年位居全球动力电池出货量头名。截止2021年底,宁德时代在全球动力电池市场的占有率超过三成,在中国市场中市场份额更是达到50%以上。宁德时代的崛起是我国蓬勃发展的新能源产业的一个缩影,其背后与我国政府的产业扶持和企业自身的核心能力密不可分。本文从动力电池的行业发展现状入手,首先研究了我国动力电池行业的发展历程和所处阶段,并详细分析数家宁德时代的竞争对手。研究主体部分,本文首先采用了PEST和VRIN分析框架,分别从外部环境和内部条件对宁德时代进行分析。其次,本文通过使用SWOT矩阵分析,说明公司所面对的机会和威胁,以及自身所具备的优势与劣势。根据SWOT分析部分获得的结果,本文进一步对比成本领先战略、集中化战略和差异化战略三大波特通用竞争战略与公司各自的适配性,并得出结论:现阶段宁德时代应采用差异性战略作为公司主要竞争战略。最后,本文为宁德时代提出建议,为保证竞争战略的落地,公司应采取明确战略规划、建立公平的人才激励体系、深化创新为主的企业文化三大举措。

CATL is a leading power battery enterprise in the world. In the 11 years since its establishment, with excellent products and services, the company has continuously won orders from well-known automobile enterprises all over the world. Since 2017, the company has ranked the first place in global power battery shipments for five consecutive years. By the end of 2021, CATL has secured 30% of the global power battery market share and more than 50% of the Chinese market share.The rise of CATL is an epitome of China's booming clean energy industry, which is closely related to the industrial support of government and the core competence of CATL. Starting with the development status of power battery industry, this paper first studies the development process and stage of China's power battery industry. Then it analyzes several competitors of CATL in detail.To unfold the focal case, this paper first uses the PEST and VRIN analysis framework to analyze the external environment and internal resources of CATL respectively. Secondly, by using SWOT matrix analysis, this paper explains the opportunities and threats faced by the company, as well as its own advantages and disadvantages. This paper further compares the adaptability of overall cost leadership strategy, focus strategy and differentiation strategy with the company. According to the analysis, it concludes that at this stage, CATL should adopt differentiation strategy as the company's main competitive strategy.Finally, this paper makes suggestions for CATL. In order to ensure the implementation of competitive strategy, the company should take three major measures: clarifying strategic objectives, establishing a fair talent incentive system and deepening innovation oriented corporate culture.
