志怪题材作为传统文化中重要的一部分,充满了神秘色彩。从最早的图腾到现代各色志怪题材作品,志怪插图用图形和画面向人们更为直接地展示了想象中那些夸张可怖的造型;志怪故事用文字联通真实与虚幻,构建离奇骇人的鬼神世界。比如中国古代的志怪题材中小说、杂谈笔记类的作品十分充分,人们对明清时期的《聊斋志异》、《阅微草堂笔记》等作品较为熟知,但对更早期的志怪文学作品及艺术创作了解不多。在中国早期的志怪作品中,政治、社会、人文均在小说杂谈笔记中有所折射,值得进行发掘。其中,《酉阳杂俎》作为一部集唐代大观的笔记小说,其中包含了大篇幅的志怪题材故事,向读者展示了唐朝不为人知的一面。全书共三十卷,节选其中志怪杂谈部分,并以此为创作对象进行创作。本文研究了唐代墓志纹样图像中独特的造型语言,并结合志怪题材提出一种新的插图风格,在插图风格中有所突破。目的一是探讨有关志怪题材插图风格的多样性;二是向人们展示唐代志怪文化、吸引更多人了解关注唐代志怪文化,在传承文化的同时进行再创造。文中将从四个部分逐一阐述创作研究与过程,首先说明选题目的及意义;其次分析唐代墓志纹样中的特点,从构图、造型、线条等角度提取视觉语言及表现形式;再次,分析志怪题材插图的发展演变,总结志怪插图的风格类别与特点,为后续风格创新的探索创新点;最后根据研究结果尝试探索新的志怪插图绘画语言,并记录对所选文本《酉阳杂俎》的节选志怪内容系列创作的过程与结果。在创作实践部分,从《酉阳杂俎》中节选部分志怪内容为文本,并基于前文对墓志纹样与志怪插图的研究,为所选文案创作系列插图,共21张。另外为插图设计相关衍生品,包括编排绘本、选取部分拥有吉祥意义的内容设计相应周边产品、结合实时成像技术拓展插图的表现纬度,为系列插图增加趣味性。最终通过实践证明以墓志纹样作为参考进行志怪题材插图创作的可行性。最后,笔者希望以此次创作作为未来整套酉阳杂俎的设计基础,在未来进一步完善唐代志怪题材的相关创作。
As an important part of traditional culture, strange and supernatural themes are full of mysterious colors. From the earliest totems to modern works of various kinds of strange and supernatural themes, strange and supernatural illustrations use graphics and pictures to more directly show the exaggerated and horrible shapes in people's imagination. Strange stories with words connected with real and illusory, to build a strange and frightening ghost world. For example, in ancient China, novels and miscellaneous talk notes are quite sufficient. People are familiar with strange Stories from a Studio and Notes from A Cottage in The Ming and Qing Dynasties, but they do not know much about earlier strange and strange literature and artistic creation. In the early Chinese strange works, politics, society and humanity are reflected in the novel miscellaneous notes, which is worth exploring. Among them, YouYangZaZu, as a collection of notes of the Tang Dynasty, contains a large number of stories on strange and supernatural themes, showing the unknown side of the Tang Dynasty to readers. The book is a total of 30 volumes, excerpts from which weird and strange miscellaneous parts, and as the object of creation for creation.This paper studies the unique modeling language in the epitaph of tang Dynasty, and proposes a new illustration style combined with the theme of strange and strange, which has made a breakthrough in the illustration style. Objective one is to explore the diversity of the illustration style of strange and supernatural themes. The second is to show people the culture of strange spirits in the Tang Dynasty, attract more people to understand and pay attention to the culture of strange spirits in the Tang Dynasty, and recreate the culture while inheriting it. This paper will elaborate the research and process of creation from four parts one by one. Secondly, the characteristics of the epitaph of tang Dynasty were analyzed, and the visual language and expression form were extracted from the Angle of composition, shape and line. Thirdly, it analyzes the development and evolution of the illustrations of strange and strange themes, summarizes the style categories and characteristics of strange and strange illustrations, and explores innovative points for the subsequent style innovation. Finally, according to the research results, the author tries to explore the new painting language of strange and strange illustrations, and records the process and results of the creation of the selected text "YouYangZaZu".In the part of creation practice, I created a series of illustrations for the selected texts, 21 in total, based on the research on the epitaph patterns and illustrations of strange spirits in YouYangZaZu. In addition, I designed derivatives related to illustrations, including arranging picture books, selecting some content with auspicious meaning to design corresponding peripheral products, and combining real-time imaging technology to expand the expression latitude of illustrations to add interest to the series of illustrations. Finally, the practice proves that it is feasible to use the epitaph pattern as a reference for the creation of strange and strange illustrations.Finally, the author hopes to use this creation as the design basis of the whole set of YouYangZaZu in the future, so as to further improve the related creation of the theme of the Tang Dynasty.
