随着物联网的高速发展,各大社会资本纷纷入场,如何获得较高的投资回报成为每个投资方面临的课题。而小米AIoT产业独树一帜的投资策略,不仅给其带来了正向的投资收益,并且赋能其业务增长,成为该领域的领导品牌。鉴于此,笔者对小米AIoT投资策略进行了深入研究,通过细致分析投资的宏观环境、微观环境、小米自身投资策略的特点及投资效果,总结了小米AIoT投资策略的优势以及不足,并给到了改进建议。 笔者研究发现,总体来说,小米AIoT业务的成功主要依托于其投资策略符合小米的发展需要。小米通过“投资+孵化”的模式,以低成本加入,“广撒网”,从而培育小米AIoT自己的“竹林生态”,达到产品快速迭代的需求,从而迅速抢占市场。然而,其“极致性价比”的定位虽然可以帮其迅速开拓市场,但当下小米AIoT产业已经面临营收放缓的困境,小米必须调整投资策略,从而赋能业务产生新的增长点。笔者经过分析建议的主要策略包括,投资高端产品品类以开拓高端市场,投资重心由扶植初创企业调整为广泛投资中型企业,聚焦投资大型重点企业,投资领域扩展到芯片和数据产业,并且充分抓住疫情期间产生的需求,投资扩展健康防护类产品品类。
With the high development of AIoT, more and more investors are looking for the good projects to invest in. But how to gain a high return is the main challenge to them. Xiaomi, the leader of AIot market in China, fully utilize its investment strategy in AIoT and gain lots of benefits. Therefore, I analyzed Xiaomi investment case including the analysis of general investment environment, Xiaomi investment strategy features and the effect. I summarized some highlights and lowlights of Xiaomi investment strategy and also gave some suggestions based on current situation. I found out the main reason of xiaomi’s success is that its investment strategy is customized to its situation. Xiaomi invested and sponsored multiple companies in their early age so that they could work with these companies to design and produce the product together which means, xiaomi’s consideration of product would be highly valued during the whole process.Relying on these investment strategies, Xiaomi has got huge investment return and also its business market share became the top 1. But there are still some issues about the current investment strategy that would have negative effect on current business. Currently, Xiaomi AIoT revenue has already increased much slower than before. To encounter this issue, I have raised some new suggestions about the investment strategy. One is develop the high-end market by investing premium companies; Secondly, invest more mature company instead of the startup ones; Third, Top up investment in chip and data industry; Fourth, expand the product variety to health care given the covid spread situation.
