筑牢中华民族共同体意识是关系中国国家前途和民族命运的重大命题。全球化、现代化的迅猛发展使不同群体、民族之间的接触交流更为便利和频繁，族群与其他人们共同体交织在一起形成了多元文化共存的局面。多元文化不仅描绘了一国之内不同文化相互交融以及世界范围内不同民族、国家文化多元共存的二维图景，也深刻塑造了民族共同体及其认同所面临的现实境遇。习近平总书记提出的“国家统一之基、民族团结之本和精神力量之魂”的时代命题既深刻揭示了中华民族共同体意识的科学内涵，也全面阐述了它在国内、国际两个多元文化场域交织的时空下帮助个体和群体寻找意义和确立归属的重要意义。作为一个“历史性基础概念”，“中华民族共同体意识”在历史的语义场中被反复表述，历经了清末民初标准化的身份想象、抗战时期大众化的情感动员、建国后政治化的族际整合和新时代具象化的愿景生产，最终一步步嵌入人们的认知和体验结构之中，成为当今人们普遍接受的一个概念。作为一个现实指向性概念，中华民族共同体意识以中华民族共同体认同为核心，集中反映了中华儿女依赖中华文化的情感归属，表达了中国公民对政治国家应尽义务的心理认同，体现了各族人民实现中华民族复兴愿景的行动意志，是对中华民族共同体身份的归属性认同、赞同性认同和期待性认同的统一。全球一体化、文化多元化和区域本土化的深入推进及其对中华民族共同体的冲击和挑战既加剧了多元与一体的张力、文化与政治的纠葛、个体与共同体的矛盾，也彰显了培育中华民族共同体意识的现实紧迫性。当前，混杂交融型、多元文化型、宗教统摄型和传统重建型等诸民族共同体意识培育模式既有共性的一面，也因为民族国家本身的差异而存在一些区别。培育中华民族共同体意识本质上是一项认同性实践活动，认同体现了中华民族共同体意识对民族文化、政治国家和共同愿景的多重满足。站在新的历史起点上，培育中华民族共同体意识需要从强化共同体认同的共同性基础和构成性影响出发，围绕利益共享、价值共识、认同教育、制度保障等方面展开积极的探索，真正把中华民族共同体意识的各项构成要素落到实处并贯穿于个体成员意识生成巩固的全过程。
Building up the Chinese National Community Consciousness is an important proposition concerning the future of the country and the destiny of the nation. With the rapid development of globalization and modernization, contacts and exchanges between different groups and nationalities are more convenient and frequent. Ethnic groups and other people‘s communities are intertwined together to form a complex and pluralistic culture. Multiculture not only depicts the two-dimensional picture of the integration of different cultures in a country and the pluralistic coexistence of cultures of different nationalities and countries in the world, but also profoundly shapes the realistic situation faced by the national community and its identity. General secretary Xi Jinping‘s era proposition of ＂the foundation of national reunification, the root of ethnic unity and the soul of spiritual strength＂ not only reveal the scientific connotation of the Chinese National Community Consciousness, but also comprehensively explain its significance in helping individuals and groups to find meaning and establish ascription in the time and space of two multicultural fields. As a historical basic concept, the Chinese National Community Consciousness has been repeatedly expressed in the historical semantic field. It has gone through the standardized identity imagination in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, the popular emotional mobilization during the War of Resistance Against Japan, the politicized inter ethnic integration after the founding of the people‘s Republic, and the concrete vision production in the new era, and finally gradually embedded in people‘s cognition and experience. It has become a concept that people generally accept nowadays. As a realistic concept, the Chinese National Community Consciousness takes the identity of Chinese national community as the core, which reflects the belonging emotion of Chinese people to the dependence of Chinese culture, expresses the identification psychology of Chinese citizens to the obligation of political country, and reflects the action will of people of all ethnic groups to realize the vision of Chinese national rejuvenation. It is the unity of belonging identity, approval identity and expectation identity. The rapid progress of global integration, cultural pluralism and regional localization and their challenges to Chinese National Community, not only aggravate the internal tension between pluralism and integration, the natural entanglement between culture and politics, the inherent contradiction between individual and community, but also highlight the practical urgency of cultivating the Chinese National Community Consciousness. At present, the four modes of cultivating the national community consciousness in countries all over the world, namely, hybrid type, multicultural type, religion dominated type and traditional reconstruction type, have both similarities and differences due to the differences of national states. Cultivating the Chinese National Community Consciousness is essentially a practical activity to enhance identity, which reflects the multiple satisfaction to national culture, political state and common vision. Standing at a new historical starting point, cultivating the Chinese National Community Consciousness needs to start from strengthening the common foundation and constitutive influence of community identity, and carry out active explorations around benefit sharing, value consensus, identity education, institutional guarantees, so as to truly implement the constituent elements of the Chinese National Community Consciousness and run through the whole process of the formation and consolidation of the consciousness of individual members.
