水彩媒介的渗透性、扩散性、清透性,使得水彩天然带有一种随心所欲、浑然天成、富于暗示、超以象外的美学气质,与中国的写意精神紧紧相符。本文将基于水彩的材料特性,在中西方文化融合的大背景下,探讨中国山水精神在写意水彩风景画领域的表达。通过研究,分析写意水彩风景画的核心特征,挖掘其背后的文化与艺术价值,增进艺术家在水彩风景画创作中对写意精神的把握。“澄怀味象”出自于南朝画家宗炳的理论著作《画山水序》,点明了画家要以一颗毫无杂念的虚静之心,去体悟山水之万象,自然之意韵。它不仅是对中国山水精神的高度概括,还阐释了中国哲学观察和感悟自然的方式,后世写意绘画与此精神一脉相承。18世纪以来,水彩风景画家们将水彩本体语言的魅力充分展现,部分风景作品开始具有强烈的精神内涵与抒情写意特质,诞生了透纳、萨金特、怀斯,及国内的李剑晨、古元、哈定等写意水彩风景画大家。这些水彩画家们的创作理念则集中体现出了澄怀味象山水精神,山水自然成为了“道”的显现,神性的存在,心灵的寄托,他们通过绘画抒发出对自然博大、庄重、谐和的感怀之情,实现了人之自由精神在艺术上的解放。在这些创作理念的影响下,水彩艺术家们发展出了丰富的水性材料语言、色彩语言、笔触语言和形式构成语言,用水彩多元的表现力将画家自身的浪漫情怀和人格特质呈现在了画面之上。本文将基于具体的水彩作品,结合艺术家的生平、性格、时代背景等,分析写意水彩风景画在不同阶段的主要特征,并集中从创作理念和绘画语言两个角度研究山水精神的具体呈现,探讨写意水彩风景画的内在价值。最后,结合个人作品,阐述山水精神对于个人写意水彩风景画创作的启示。
The permeability, diffusion and clearness of the media make watercolor naturally have an aesthetic temperament of arbitrary, natural, suggestive and transcendent, which is closely consistent with the spirit of Chinese freehand brushwork. Based on the material characteristics of watercolor, this paper discusses the expression of Chinese landscape spirit in the field of freehand watercolor landscape painting under the background of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures. Through the research, this paper analyzes the core characteristics of freehand watercolor landscape painting, excavates the cultural and artistic value behind it, and enhances the artists' grasp of freehand spirit in the creation of watercolor landscape painting."Clearing the Mind to Savor the Image" comes from Zongbing's theoretical work "preface to landscape painting", which points out that the painter should understand the landscape and the natural charm with a quiet and empty heart. It not only sums up the spirit of Chinese landscape, but also explains the way of Chinese philosophy to observe and comprehend nature. Freehand brushwork of later generations comes down in one continuous line with this spirit.Since the 18th century, watercolor landscape painters have fully demonstrated the charm of watercolor noumenon language, and some landscape works began to have strong spiritual connotation and lyric characteristics, giving birth to Turner, Sargent, wise, and other domestic watercolor masters such as Li Jianchen, Gu Yuan, Harding. The creative ideas of these Watercolor Painters mainly reflect the spirit of Chenghuai taste like mountains and waters. Mountains and waters naturally become the manifestation of "Tao", the existence of divinity, and the sustenance of soul. They express their feelings for the broad, solemn, and harmonious nature through painting, and realize the liberation of human free spirit in art. Under the influence of these creative ideas, watercolor artists have developed a wealth of water-based material language, color language, brush language and form language. With the multiple expressive power of watercolor, they present their own romantic feelings and personality traits on the screen.Based on the specific watercolor works, combined with the artist's life, character, background of the times, this paper analyzes the main characteristics of freehand watercolor landscape painting in different stages, and focuses on the specific presentation of landscape spirit from the two perspectives of creative concept and painting language, and probes into the intrinsic value of freehand watercolor landscape painting. Finally, combined with personal works, this paper expounds the inspiration of landscape spirit for personal freehand watercolor landscape painting creation.
