随着我国社会发展水平的不断提高和城市规模的不断扩大，各地兴起作为城市地标和城市文化生活载体的文化建筑的建设。然而，在过去的一段时间里，文化建筑的设计往往只关注其自身的文化核心功能，强调建筑的功能性，而忽略了文化建筑的城市性。尤其是在人们的文化生活需求逐渐走向多样化和复合化的背景下，单一的文化建筑反而成为了城市中的文化孤岛，如果不去激活周边城市区域，文化建筑不试图融入到城市环境中，这会导致城市整体功能的丢失，甚至加剧城市的用地紧张。对此，越来越多的学者和建筑师把目光转向关注如何让文化建筑真正地为城市服务。但目前关于这一问题的研究仍在进行中，尚未形成较为系统的学术理论。针对这一问题，本文提出将文化建筑的公共空间作为城市的客厅，一方面既是文化建筑的核心功能，另一方面又面向城市开放，使之具有建筑和城市的双重属性。本文通过对符合城市客厅要求的文化建筑公共空间进行广泛的案例研究、背景追述、及理论综述，从文化建筑外部公共空间和内部公共空间两个方面，归纳出宏观、中观、微观三个层次的具有一定广泛性的设计策略，希望为今后作为城市客厅的文化建筑设计起到借鉴作用。在理论研究的基础上，本文以嘉兴运河文化展示馆工程项目作为设计实例，将理论与实践相结合，进行了运河文化展示馆公共空间的设计，并进一步梳理和总结相关的设计理论。

With the continuous improvement of the level of social development in our country and the continuous expansion of the city scale, the construction boom of cultural facilities and buildings as urban landmarks and carriers of urban cultural life has begun to rise in various places. However, in the past, the design of cultural buildings often focused only on the use of its own core cultural functions, emphasizing the cultural functionality of the building, while ignoring the urbanity of the cultural building. Especially in the context of people's cultural life needs gradually becoming diversified and compliant, the design of a single cultural building instead becomes a cultural island in the city, without activating the surrounding urban areas, integrating into the urban environment, exacerbating urban land use. Tensions. In this regard, more and more scholars and architects are focusing on how to make cultural buildings truly serve the city. The research on this issue is still ongoing, and no more systematic academic theory has been formed.In view of this problem, this article proposes to use the public space of cultural architecture as the living room of the city. On the one hand, it not only serves the core functional unit of cultural architecture, but also opens to the city, so that it has the dual attributes and functions of architecture and city. Through an extensive background review, theoretical analysis, and case studies of cultural building public spaces that meet the requirements of urban living rooms, this paper summarizes a broad design strategy from the aspects of cultural building external public space and internal public space, for The design of cultural buildings in urban living rooms serves as a reference.Based on theoretical research, this article takes the Jiaxing Canal Culture Exhibition Hall project as a practical case study. Based on the combination of theory and practice, it continues to advance the design of the public space of the Canal Culture Exhibition Hall, and further sorts out and summarizes relevant research theories.
