摘要

清醒梦作为一种特殊的梦,是指在做梦时个体可以意识到自己正在做梦,有时甚至可以主动控制梦境的走向。本研究通过标准化问卷和脑电技术,系统地探讨了视觉想象与清醒梦之间的关系。研究一以问卷和标准化量表的方法,初步探讨了清醒梦频率与想象力水平的关系,结果显示清醒梦频率和想象力水平存在显著的弱正相关。研究二和研究三采用脑电技术,分别以名词和场景描述作为任务刺激,要求被试在脑海中想象刺激所指代的相应物体或场景,同时在正式任务前,采集5分钟的静息态脑电数据。经分析,得出如下结果:首先,在行为数据上,我们发现了视觉想象生动性与清醒梦频率的显著弱正相关关系。其次,脑电结果显示高频清醒梦被试在视觉想象进程中,枕叶区域相应电极波频段的激活程度显著低于极低频清醒梦被试。最后,没有发现不同清醒梦强度的被试在进行视觉想象任务时的脑电活动存在显著差异。关系。首先,研究通过问卷和标准化量表搜集大量数据,结果显示出清醒梦频率与想象力可能存在相关性。之后,研究通过EEG实验一、二,收集不同清醒梦频率、不同梦中清醒强度的被试组在进行名词或场景想象时的脑电数据,进行对比分析。结果表明,高频清醒梦被试在视觉想象时顶枕叶电极在波频段的激活表现显著弱于极低频清醒梦被试。根据Cremades和Peace二人在2007年的研究结论,视觉想象生动性较强的个体相较视觉想象生动性较弱的个体相关脑区的激活程度显著更小[126]。因而可以进一步得出,高频清醒梦的被试视觉想象生动性相较极低频组更强。此外,并没有发现清醒梦强度高低体现在视觉想象任务时脑电活动的显著差异。

As a unique form of dream, lucid dreaming is defined as a state of dream consciousness in which one can realize he or she is dreaming, and even sometimes being able to control the ongoing dream scenario. The main purpose of this research is to probe into the relationship of lucid dreaming and the vividness of visual imagery, by means of combined standardized questionnaires and EEG technique. Study one sets out to explore the possible connection between lucid dreaming frequency and the level of imaginationvia questionnaires and standardized scales. Study two and three adopt the EEG technique, using nouns and scene descriptions as task stimulus respectively and instructing subjects to visualize an object or scene every stimulus represented on screen. Quantative analysis lead to certain results: First, behavioral data indicate that vividness of visual imagery and lucid dreaming frequency are found significantly and positively correlated. Second, according to the EEG data, the power (8-13Hz) of frequent lucid dreamers in the occipital electrodes were significantly lower than that of the extremely low frequency individuals. Meanwhile, no significant difference was found between groups divided by subjects’ dream lucidity.explore the possible relationship of lucid dreaming and the vividness of visual imagery under daily circumstances. Lucid dreaming frequency and dream lucidity were used as two indicators of lucid dreaming. The research methods included standardized questionnaires and EEG visual imagery experiments. In the first place, we collected extensive data through questionnaire survey, attempting to establish primary relationship between lucid dream frequency and imagination scores. Then, EEG study was conducted by instructing the participants to visualize every noun stimulus in mind, while collecting their EEG performance. Finally, in study three, 24 scene descriptions were used as stimulus. According to quantitive data analysis, significant variations of α power (8-13Hz) were found in the occipital-parietal lobe between high lucid dreaming frequency group and extremely low frequency group. In conclusion, positive correlation was found between lucid dreaming frequency and vividness of visual imagery.
