在文艺复兴时期,赞助人扮演了举足轻重的角色。他们不但为艺术家提供创作所需的经济来源,同时还将赞助人个人意志灌注到艺术作品中去。赞助人和艺术家有着严格的契约关系,艺术家要遵循合同的条款进行创作。这一时期的艺术作品,除了是艺术家个人才华的产物之外,还是赞助人兴趣和地位的象征。在西方学界,以赞助人角度来研究文艺复兴时期的艺术已经有了较为成熟的方法。本文在借鉴这些成功方法的基础上,选取罗维雷家族作为主要研究对象,力图通过梳理各个阶段家族主要成员的赞助风格、题材和趣味等因素,透彻地呈现这一家族的赞助规律。罗维雷家族是文艺复兴时期重要的艺术赞助家族之一。从家族首任教皇西克斯图斯四世到末代乌尔比诺公爵弗朗切斯科?马利亚二世?德拉•罗维雷的近200年的时间里,他们资助和委托了大量著名的艺术家,从而产生了一批文艺复兴时期重要的艺术作品。本文的研究时间因此跨越了15世纪后半叶到17世纪早期,而且紧扣赞助人这一条主线。文中把研究对象主要分为五代人,并且在以前两代人代表的教会和后三代人代表的宫廷的两个范畴内进行考察。本文的研究对象隶属于家族式赞助的范畴,而家族式赞助在这一时期因其相对长久的持续时间和鲜明的特色而独具有代表性。把罗维雷家族作为一个范例来研究,对理解同时期家族式艺术赞助的社会基础和时代文化,具有深刻的意义。本文在完整梳理罗维雷家族艺术赞助的基础上,以它为参考考察同时期家族式赞助的情况,检视罗维雷家族在这一时期所具有的重要意义和价值。
During the Renaissance, patrons play a pivotal role. They not only provide artists with financial resources necessary for the creation, and also go poured sponsor individual will into works of art. Patron and the artist has a strict contractual relationship and the artist should follow the terms of the contract creation. Art works of this period were not only the product of artists’ talent, but also symbol of patrons’ interest and status.It have a more mature approach to research Renaissance Art with angle of sponsor in Western academia. Based on these successful methods for reference, I select the House of Rovere as the main object of study. Trying to sort through the various stages of the main members of the sponsoring family style, theme and taste and other factors, a thorough presentation sponsored by the law of this family will be presented.The Rovere is one of the important patron of the arts of the Renaissance. From the first Pope Sixtus IV to the last Duke of Urbino in nearly 200 years, the family funded and commissioned a large number of well-known artists, resulting in a number of important works of art of the Renaissance. This article therefore study period spanned the second half of the 15th century to the early 17th century, and closely linked to the patron that the main line. The main object of the research paper is divided into five generations, two generations for the church before and three generations for the court after. The subject is belongs to the category of House sponsorship, which during this period fulfilled distinctive characteristics and unique representative because of relatively long duration and the unique taste. The Rovere as a representative of the family to study, on the understanding of the family at the same time patron of the arts and the social basis of contemporary culture, has profound significance.
