在快速变化的市场环境与高度的竞争压力下,企业需要通过迅速有效的决策模式来获得竞争优势,环境复杂性的提高使管理者的个人决策的局限性逐渐显现出来,且随着民主化进程的推进,组织的群体决策为越来越多的企业所接受。因此寻找有效的群体决策模式对于企业的健康发展具有重要意义。 通过整合相关文献,我们认为理性决策是一种较好的组织群体决策模式。在本研究中,我们建立了围绕组织理性决策的全模型,从结果因素的角度探讨了组织理性决策水平与组织绩效之间的关系,以及环境动荡性和竞争强度在其中的调节作用;从前因因素的角度探究了信息技术使用水平和组织学习能力与组织理性决策水平之间的关系。 研究采用问卷调查方法,使用的问卷来源于已有研究,并根据中国的语言和文化进行了修订。调查对象为清华大学高级管理课程班的学员,即企业的高级管理人员,共回收有效问卷212份。假设的验证中考虑了企业所在地区、所有制类型、所在行业、企业年龄和员工人数作为控制变量,采用层级回归的方法进行统计检验。 研究结果显示,组织理性决策与组织绩效间呈现正相关关系,环境的动荡性在其中起负向调节作用,竞争强度在其中起正向调节作用;组织学习能力和信息技术水平与组织理性决策水平间分别有正相关关系,且组织学习能力是信息技术水平与组织理性决策水平间关系的中介变量。 本研究的贡献在于从理论上建立了以组织理性决策为中心的模型,加强了对于组织理性决策深入全面的理解,同时也为企业选择理性决策模式提供了依据,并从影响因素角度指出企业可以通过改善信息技术的使用以及组织学习能力来促进理性决策水平,进而提高企业绩效。
Facing the fast-changing environment and highly competitive pressure in the market, the limitations of individual decision-making are revealing, so companies need effective organizational decision modes to gain competitive advantages. In this study, we have reviewed related literatures and find that rational decision-making is an effective mode for organizational decision-making. A full model concerning organizational rational decision-making is proposed, in which we study the consequence and antecedents of organizational rational decision-making. About consequence, we discuss the relationship between organizational rational decision-making and organizational performance and the moderating roles of environmental turbulence and competitive intensity. About the antecedents, we investigate relationships between organizational rational decision-making, information technology and organizational learning. A survey method is used in our study. The respondents are EMBA students in Tsinghua University, 212 valid answers are gathered. The results show that organizational rational decision-making and organizational performance are positive related, with environmental turbulence as a negative moderating factor and competitive intensity as a positive one. Positive relationships are found between organizational rational decision-making and organizational learning, and also between organizational rational decision-making and information technology, in which organizational learning works as a mediating factor. The value of this study is that the full model concerning organizational rational decision-making provides a theoretical frame and empirical evidence on the effectiveness of organizational rational decision-making.
