本文重新审视了基于遗产地“价值”评判体系进行文化遗产保护的不足，并试图探讨一种新的模式，以更加全面，真实地反映在文化遗产领域追求文化多样性背景下的遗产地保护行动的要求，弥补传统遗产地“价值”评判体系存在着的标准上的相对静态和封闭性，对遗产地社区居民在遗产地保护中的意义和作用评估不足，以及对象集中在有形元素等问题。 2008年10月4日，世界古迹遗址理事会（ICOMOS）第16届大会发表《保护遗产地精神的魁北克宣言》。本文以此为契机，发展了遗产地场所精神的理论，在传统文化遗产保护中遗产地“价值”评判体系的基础上吸收了非物质文化遗产（无形文化遗产）保护模式和诺伯格·舒尔茨“场所和场所精神”理论中的合理成分，进而发展出的新的“遗产地场所精神”建构模式。并探讨了这一模式同传统文化遗产保护中遗产地“价值”评判体系，诺伯格·舒尔茨“场所和场所精神”理论的异同。对在“遗产地场所精神”的模式下，“人”的因素与承载遗产地场所精神的有形和无形元素之间互动关系，以及由于这种互动形成的遗产地场所精神在稳定传承基础上的持续重构，精神元素多元化等特征进行分析。 本论文还选择了佛教文化中“文殊菩萨道场”的山西五台山为实例，将“遗产地场所精神”模式及其理论应用于分析五台山遗产地场所精神的建构过程、承载元素及其与五台山佛教徒、普通社区居民的互动关系，期待这些分析为五台山和国内其他“场所精神”突出且重要的遗产地在做遗产地保护工作时有所启示。
Under the background of culture-diversity, The Value-Assessing Mode in cultural heritages conservation area appears to be of some deficiency, like the standard of the evaluation, the element it focuses on. Thus it seems necessary to introduce some new theory to improve such a condition. October 2008，International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) the 16th General Assembly was held in Québec, Canada. And at the end of the meeting, The Quebec Declaration on the Preservation of the Spirit of the Place was released. On such a moment, I am trying to use the theory of the Spirit of the Place of Christian Norberg-Schulz in the Architecture area and renew the Value-Assessing Mode. Such a progress brings the mode basing on the Spirit of the Place in cultural heritage into a cultural heritages conservation area. Under such new mode, the people living in the heritage are given more considering significance on the mutual-impacting with the Tangible and Intangible elements in the Historic sites. For it is because of this kind of mutual impacts that produced such multi-ply Spirit of the Place in cultural heritage as well as its continue renewal. In this thesis, Wutai Mountains is taken as a study-case. Using the mode basing on the Spirit of the Place in cultural heritage, the constructing progress of the spirit during the mutual-impacting of the community with the Tangible and Intangible elements in Wutai Mountains are analyzed, Hoping that these analysis can give some inspiration to some domestic historic sites.
