摘要

第三代移动通信系统(3G)的全球主流标准WCDMA系统,其网络建设在发达国家才刚刚开始,作为引领移动通信下一个十年的移动通信技术,其网络复杂性比第二代移动通信系统(2G)高十倍以上,如何建设优质的3G网络,是未来3G成功的基本关键要素。目前对于3G网络建设的经验仍然十分缺乏,全球各主要移动运营商和制造商都在积极摸索之中。本文研究了WCDMA无线网络建设的几个关键问题,分析提出了WCDMA网络规划的一般方法,重点分析了无线网络覆盖和容量问题,提出了增强无线覆盖的几种增强技术。并对无线资源管理技术进行了一般的分析,其结论有利于指导无线网络参数配置和网络运营。同时分析了3G与2G的互操作性,提出了“3G向2G单向切换,3G/2G相互漫游”的解决方案,大大降低对现有网络改造的影响。在无线网络工程实施部分,本文提出了研究WCDMA系统与GSM/DCS1800、TD-SCDMA、PHS、直放站等干扰和共存分析的实用理论方法,运用此方法进行了干扰和共存的分析。分析发现了我国大功率PHS系统对WCDMA的严重干扰问题,进行了实际试验,提出了解决方案。并提出降低我国3G新运营商站址获取成本的“推动我国基站共享立法”的建议,如能实施,将为我国节省大量3G建设投资。本文分析了核心网络的版本和技术发展,提出了“类R4”的建网思路,实现了当前阶段核心网络先进性和可实现性的完美结合。本文还重点对无线网络技术进行了外场试验,通过试验得出了大量的指导今后WCDMA网络建设的宝贵数据,同时验证了本文前面的一些理论分析。

The WCDMA system as the main standard of the 3rd generation mobile communication system (3G) is in the beginning of network deploying in worldwide. As the next-ten-years mobile communication system, it is more than ten-times complicated compares with the 2nd generation system(2G). How to deploy a good performance 3G network is the key factor of 3G’s success. Lacking of 3G network deployment experience is the worldwide problems nowadays. The 3G operators and vendors are striving for the knowledge and know-how of WCDMA network deploying.This paper studied the key issues of radio network deployment, gives out the radio network optimization method. And focuses on the radio coverage and capacity problems analysis, design several radio coverage enhancement technologies with computer simulation and real-network testing. The paper also analyses the RRM ( Radio Resource Management ) and gives guideline for radio network parameters setup for network operation. In the 2G/3G operation study, designs a new method of ”3G to 2G one-way handover and 3G/2G two way roaming”, it will decrease the influence to current 2G networks when 3G is introduced.In the radio network engineering analysis chapter, this paper gives the analyzing method and calculated result of interference and coexisting analysis of 3G with GSM/DCS1800, TD-SCDMA, PHS, repeaters. Also discovers the strong interference of China high-power PHS systems to WCDMA systems with this method, and makes field trial of PHS system coexist with WCDMA system, gives out solution for interference control. Here also makes out a proposal of lawmaking to radio base-station coexisting for China future mobile operators.This paper analyses the core network standard and technical maturity and evolution, give out a R4-like core network proposal for WCDMA operators, which will make the WCDMA core network more feasible with mature networking and R4 advanced network deploying. In the last chapter, tests and evaluates the WCDMA RTT (Radio Transmit Technologies), RRM technologies, radio network planning and coexisting of WCDMA with GSM900/1800 in the real field trial. The field testing result is very useful and will be a guideline to WCDMA network deploying.
