青年时代的毛泽东伴随着他对人生、社会的思考，在探寻改造社会道路的过程中，形成了他的早期教育思想。本文在建国以来学术界对毛泽东早期教育思想所作研究的基础上作了进一步的探讨，并特别探寻了毛泽东早期教育思想的中外文化思想渊源。文章探讨了毛泽东早期教育思想的特点。这些特点表明毛泽东早期的教育思想除含有同时代思想的精华之外，还有自己的独到之创新，但也存在时代的局限。通过理清毛泽东早期教育的思路，本文对早期毛泽东教育思想的渊源形成，提出了自己的看法，也由此更深入更准确地认识了毛泽东早期教育思想的特点。

Young Mao Zedong formed his educational thought in t he course of his deliberating on the social affaires and life and of his searching for a way to reform the society. This paper makes, on the basis of the researches done by the academic world since 1949, a further study of young Mao Zedong’s educational thought, especially of its native and alien origins.
